You can run your week, or your week can run you.
Here’s how to build a calm service schedule:
Block AM and PM zones. Reserve mornings for installations, afternoons for maintenance.
Leave room for same-day emergencies. Always keep one or two open slots.
Batch similar jobs. Group maintenance calls by geography to minimize drive time.
Set a cut-off time. No dispatching new jobs after 3 PM unless it’s a true emergency.
Chaos is expensive. Calm is profitable.
